The art room has now moved to room 003 in the portable.  We are so excited to have one space to use as our creative visual arts studio!  The elements of art that we are now exploring are shape and color in the primary grades and more involved color theory and the use of space on a two dimensional surface in the intermediate grades.  Cultures around the world will be explored through their visual arts and crafts that are used to celebrate the winter season and explore other traditions.  Please be aware that we will be using some paints, inks and art mediums throughout the year that may stain.  I do provide paint shirts when necessary but accidental spills and splatters still do occur.  Enjoy, encourage and display your young artist’s works whenever possible. Don’t hesitate to contact me if the need arises.
